Held in conjunction with India through the Eye of  Needle and the Common Threads Exhibition, the Station House Gallery will present a 30-minuite Maiwa documentary, Through the Eye of the Needle, on Thursday, July 28 at noon.

Guided gallery tours will also be available.

Further documentaries will follow next month, including Indigo: A world of Blue on Thursday, Aug. 4 at noon and In Search of Lost Colour, the story of natural dyes, on Thursday, Aug. 11 at noon.

Donations are accepted at the door.

 

Park performances line-up

 

The Concrete Fitness Performances in the Park continue next Thursday, featuring three talented acts.

Scheduled to perform on Thursday, July 28 at the Gwen Ringwood Theatre in Boitanio park are Amber Brown, Jessie Rajala Chapin, and Colin Easthope.

Performances begin at 6:30 p.m. If it is raining, they will be moved to the Gibraltar Room, and if that facility in unavailable they will be held in Rink 2 at the Cariboo Memorial Complex.
