The Princess Pine Chapter 67 Order of the Eastern Star will hold its annual tea, bake sale and bazaar this Saturday, Oct. 29 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the St. Andrew’s United church hall at 1000 Huckvale Place.
The tea is $5 and includes sandwiches, cakes, squares, plus tea or coffee.
This year proceeds from the raffle will go to the B.C. Guide Dog Services. In keeping with the theme there will be doggie quilts for sale in the craft section along with a wide variety of other crafts, second-hand items, plants and baking.
Copies of the popular cookbook, Cooking With The Stars will be available. The Shrine Club will also be selling calendars.

Sacred Heart fall bazaar
The Sacred Heart Church’s annual fall bazaar is coming up Saturday, Nov. 5 from noon to 3 p.m.
There will be a tea and luncheon, food hamper raffle and numerous tables featuring baking, bottles, gourmet/and ethnic foods, crafts, sewing, toys, and other treasures as well as information on choice for life and featured religious articles.
