On the night of Dry Grad 250-plus volunteers will be needed to help supervise activities, distribute baggage to grads, prepare and arrange food and provide security, says event co-ordinator Marilyn Strohschein.

She reminds volunteers that if they are helping during the Dry Grad celebration at the Cariboo Memorial Complex they need to have a criminal record check.

There are two more meetings scheduled for volunteer information set for Wednesday, April 19 starting at 7 p.m. in the library at the Lake City Secondary School Williams Lake Campus and on Wednesday, May  17, starting at 7 p.m. in the commons at the Williams Lake Campus.

She notes the new theme for Dry Grad 2017 is Neon ‘90s DanceParty.

“There will be lots of activities to do as the DanceParty goes on throughout the night,” Strohschein says.
