There are still a few days left for a tour of the city’s Christmas lights which seem to be more spectacular and fun than ever in some neighbourhoods this year. A drive around the city streets and subdivisions reveals all kinds of interesting displays to delight children and adults alike. This house (above) on Pigeon Avenue is lots of fun to look at with candy canes circling the yard filled with all sorts of popular characters that come out at Christmas time. In a bit of whimsey the house next to it has a sign on the roof (below) saying “ditto” with an arrow pointing to its neighbour.
