The Thompson Cariboo Community Council is hosting a workshop Saturday, Oct. 29 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at 51 South Fourth Ave. in Williams Lake.

The guest speaker is lawyer Nancy Ford, who is presenting the workshop on behalf of the Planned Lifetime Advocacy Network.

Participants will learn step by step practical approaches to creating a future plan for themselves, and/or family member along with achieving financial security; including wills, discretionary trusts, estate planning, and the registered disability savings plan.
