A&W’s Cruisin for a Cause Day takes place Thursday, Aug. 25.
The event, which is being held to raise funds for multiple sclerosis, will include a car show from the Lakers Car Club; a bake sale; a raffle basket worth $250 with A&W products, T-shirts, golf balls, flashlights, pop, and more (the winner will be drawn that evening at the car show); a bottle ring toss; colouring pages and crayons for the kids; and a root-beer float stand.
One dollar from every Teen Burger sold Thursday will go to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.
The fundraising event takes place all day at the restaurant in Williams Lake on Highway 97, with the car show to begin at 5 p.m.
