David Maurice (left) is usually in attendance at any rodeo within easy driving distance of his home in Riske Creek. Maurice, a former saddle bronc rider, is a true rodeo fan since he has retired from the sport. He and Gerry Cooper (right) of Merritt, B.C. were visiting and catching up on the latest news as they watched the high school rodeo on the weekend. Cooper was in town for the weekend with his daughter Haley, who was competing in the event.
