The Museum of the Cariboo Chicotin’s 10th annual Cowboy Christmas takes place Saturday, Nov. 22 in the Gibraltar Room.
The trade and craft fair runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. featuring cowboy crafts and art such as paintings, blacksmithing, jewellery and more plus an open mic in the afternoon.
Tickets for the evening concert starting at 7 p.m. are $15 and available at the museum and at the door.
Lead entertainers include Alan Moberg with his cowboy, country and folk songs and Bruce Rolph with his poems based on everyday life in a rural setting.
Joining them are newcomers to the concert, cowboy poet Jayden Stafford and singer/songwriter and fiddler Wesley Hardisty.
Cataline Craft Fair
The Cataline Elementary School craft fair is set for Nov. 22 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Nov. 23 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
National Child Day celebrated
Children and their families are invited to Celebrate National Child Day at the Cariboo Memorial Complex, Thursday, Nov. 20 from 6:45 to 8 p.m.
Activities will include a free swim, PJ story time, music fun, snacks, and dental health activities.
Ten Thousand Villages
Ten Thousand Villages fair trade craft sale runs Thursday, Nov. 20 and Friday, Nov. 21 from 3 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 22 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Medieval Market
The annual Medieval Market is coming up this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 22 and 23 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day at Lake City Secondary’s Williams Lake Campus on Carson Drive.
Clara Hughes
A talk by Olympic medal winner Clara Hughes’ at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops will be broadcast live at the TRU Williams Lake campus on Thursday, Nov. 20 starting at 7 p.m. in Room 1303.
St. Peter’s tea
The annual St. Peter’s Anglican Church Women’s fancy tea and bazaar featuring home baking, crafts, attic treasures and a raffle is coming up Saturday, Nov. 22 starting at 1:30 p.m.

The Tourism Discovery Centre hosts its annual Made in the Cariboo Fair Saturday, Nov. 22 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. featuring local arts and crafts.
