Friends and family of Sydney Shay MItchell’s (Ewert) congratulate her accomplishment and commitment to become a teacher and mentor to the youth in B.C.
Her hard work and dedication will rub off and benefit many students.
Sidney earned a Bachelor of Arts, Thompson Rivers University and Bachelor of Education, University of British Columbia. Awards: Outstanding Practicum Award, Elizabeth Kendall Scholarship in Education and George Brooks White Memorial Prize. She is now employed as a teacher-librarian at Carson Graham Secondary School, North Vancouver.
