The Williams Lake Food Policy Council is hosting a work party at the Community Garden on Carson Drive today, Friday, March 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The purpose of the work party is to give the garden a spring facelift, says Michelle Iverson.
“There will be plenty of opportunities for all ages and abilities to get involved,” Iverson says.
Volunteers will also enjoy a free pizza lunch. Everyone is welcome, even if it is just to lend a smile and encourage the volunteers. To learn if there are garden plots available contact the council at foodpolicycouncil@hotmail.com.
