Many community members generously helped the Salvation Army Christmas Cheer program this year. Among those making their donations at the Tribune Food and Toy Drive earlier this month with publisher Lisa Bowering was Stan Crandall, who spent $300 buying food for the food bank. “I’m doing good and I hate to see anyone go hungry,” Crandall said.
