There was lots of enthusiastic old-fashioned Christmas carol singing when the Cariboo Men’s Choir, Quintet Plus Choir and John (TubaJohn) Syke’s brass band all took to the stage together at the end of the TubaJohn and Friends sixth annual Christmas concert held at St. Andrew’s United Church on Dec. 14.
The event helped to raise funds for the Salvation Army’s annual Christmas Cheer program.
St. Andrew’s United Church provides the venue for the event each year and will hold a candlelight service on Christmas Eve starting at 7 p.m.
