The Chilcotin 4-H Club has been restarted after an eight-year break.

We are doing three projects: bicycle adventures, photography and poultry.

We had a successful demonstration and speech day with dog grooming and care, making a fire with flint and steel, and a very tasty one about how to make a smoothie.

Speeches were about snow leopards, dolphins and marine biology, and the Chilcotin.

We’ve created a schedule of fun days like the bike rodeo where you make an obstacle course to ride.

We’ve planned some fundraisers such as a bake sale April 15 at the Alexis Creek general store and a photography sale at Alexis Dayz, July 16. Finally, we are going to clean up a section of Highway 20 and do some weed pulling.
