The Theatre B.C. Central Interior Zone drama festival takes place in Kersley, May 23 to 26.
The festival includes a playwriting workshop with Kersley playwright Roy Teed, on May 23 starting at 12:30 p.m.
“This will be a two-to-three hour workshop where we’ll explore some of the methods you can use to get started on a play as well as discussing some tips and techniques,” Teed says.

The festival starts with the Kersley Players production of Bad Fishing Tech on stage at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 23.
On Friday, May 24, the Williams Lake Studio Theatre production of Closer will be on stage at 7:30 p.m.
Then on Saturday, May 25, the Prince George production of Allison’s Play is on stage at 12:30 p.m. and the Studio Theatre production of Over the River and Through the Woods is on stage at 7:30 p.m.
The festival includes coffee critiques after productions and a winning play workshop on Sunday, May 26.
