CDC hosts ice-fishing event on Chimney Lake

Fishing on Chimney Lake is normally fairly good but the full moon is being blamed for a poor showing Saturday.

Parents and kids joined workers from the Child Development Centre and local conservation officers for ice fishing and a barbecue at Chimney Lake on Saturday. This is the second time the CDC has organized the event with conservation officers. Last year the event was held at Dugan Lake. This year participation tripled and the event was held at Chimney Lake where fishing was less than stellar because of the full moon. See story Thursday.
