I joined the Cariboo Chilcotin Partners for Literacy Society in December 2010 and thoroughly enjoy my roll as executive assistant to the board of directors.
I love to organize people and so spend a lot of time trying to do just that!
I also built and maintain the CCPL website which can be found at http://www.caribooliteracy.com, as well as the Facebook fan page at: http://www.facebook.com/CaribooChilcotinPartnersforLiteracy and you can now follow us on Twitter at @CCPLiteracy.
I have always been an avid reader and have three bookcases full of random books.
I just finished reading Sounding Line, written by Anne Degrace, this morning. It is based around the 1967 UFO Crash in a Nova Scotia fishing village.
This was a thoroughly good read and I am going to try to get my hands on other books by Degrace.
She is from Nelson, B.C.
I am currently reading the Steve Jobs biography by Walter Isaacson.
This is the first biography I have ever read, but I find it quite fascinating learning all about Jobs’ life and the building of the Apple empire.
Thanks for giving me this book for Christmas, Dad!
