Profits from the Jean Andersen Memorial Quilt Show coming up April 18 and 19 at the Williams Lake Curling Rink will help the Cariboo Piecemakers quilting club to buy the materials they need in order to make quilts for people who have lost their homes to fire.

The Cariboo Piecemakers get together twice a month to share their love of quilting.

For the last 10 years, they have made and donated quilts to the Williams Lake Emergency Social Services.

Their goal is to have a homemade quilt for each family member who has lost their home to a fire.

This year they have already donated 16 quilts, and have more to be completed.

On April 18 and 19 the Cariboo Piecemakers will host the Jean Andersen Memorial Quilt Show at the Williams Lake Curling Rink.
