The Williams Lake Canada Day Committee is seeking local performers and vendors that are interested in helping to celebrate Canada Day on Wednesday, July 1, says Suzanne Cochrane.
She says the committee’s goal for Canada Day is to highlight Williams Lake’s diverse arts and multicultural performers with a variety of styles of entertainment such as music, theatre, and dance that celebrates the city’s heritage.
Performances will be showcased in the Gwen Ringwood Theatre in Boitanio Park between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Performances can be between 10 and 20 minutes long. The sound system will be available for performances; however, music must be supplied by the performer. Application deadline is May 29. For more information and application forms, please visit www.williamslake.ca.
