Ben Tudor, a Grade 6 student at Big Lake Elementary, with his project Down the Drain which looked at the effect of Storm Sewer Retention Ponds on water quality entering a river.
Ben Tudor won a gold medal in the Novice Division in Environmental Science at the School District 27 Science Fair in 100 Mile House and was also awarded Best Overall at the event.
Ben went on to the Regional Science Fair at TRU in Kamloops on April 4-5 and was awarded another gold medal for his efforts.
