The Cariboo Memorial Hospital and RCMP wellness committees faced off against one another in a fundraising fun ball game Saturday, Oct. 1 to raise money for the hospital.
Hospital wellness committee member Karen Hill says the two groups plan to have their Christmas party together and have been raising funds for the hospital with various activities such as the ball game which included the sale of hamburgers and hotdogs on the barbecue with a drink and chips.
While the hospital team started out well the RCMP rallied to win the game 14 to 7. The event was held at the ball diamond on Western Avenue across from Thompson Rivers University.
