Many local authors took part in an Author’s Fair on Saturday at the Tourism Discovery Centre, including these two well-known Cariboo women, Diana French (left) and Jeanie Vant. French has had a couple of prior publications, but her reading was a glimpse into the future as she read a chapter (about Lil Deschene) from her new book about Cariboo-Chilcotin women that will be published later this year.
