Gail Pilgrim (left) accepts an appetizer from Beulah Munson, manager of children’s services at the Women’s Contact Society who was helping out at the International Women’s Day dinner event held at Thompson Rivers University March 8. Pilgrim has written a book about the sexual abuse she has experienced and will have a signing and talk about her book Tightly Knit Secreta Unravelled: My Knitting Story at the Williams Lake Library from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 6. Pilgrim also shared her story at the International Women’s Day event.
