The Williams Lake Community Arts Council will hold its annual general meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 20 at the Central Cariboo Arts and Culture Centre starting at 6 p.m. The arts council works with various arts groups and community members to provide and co-ordinate arts events for the community.
“You don’t have to be an artist to be involved, just have a desire to work with a good bunch of folk who take pride in our community,” says Sharon Hoffman one of the arts council directors.
“This will be a pot luck appetizer affair,” Hoffman says. “We welcome new members and would love to hear new ideas for fun projects to do in Williams Lake.
“Working with this group is very rewarding and you only have to spend as much time as you wish working on a project.”
