The 3064 Rocky Mountain Ranger Army Cadets will be holding an expo to showcase what army cadets is all about this Sunday, May 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Dairy Fields at the end of Midnight Drive.

“If you have ever thought about joining Army Cadets or just want to see what the youth of Williams Lake have been up to, this event is for you,” says Irene Berns.

There will be interactive hands-on displays that will “put you in the boots” of an Army Cadet with lunch to follow prepared by the cadets.

The event begins with an annual ceremonial review in which cadets will be given awards for achievements earned throughout the year.

Please enter the Dairy Fields at the top of Midnight Drive and follow the signs for parking.

Army Cadets is a free program for youth ages 12 to 18 and focuses on aspects of leadership, physical fitness, and an interest in the Canadian Forces.
