A new art show opened at the Station House Gallery on July 6.

The gallery was filled for the opening night reception as board members, artists and gallery members came out to support the 26 participating artists who submitted 46 pieces for the food-themed show “A Feast for the Eyes.”

The curated group show asked artists to explore the relationship between humans and food, and included a broad range of mediums from paint and canvas to fabric and a fridge door.

With images of food, farmers and even earring made to look like edible liquorice allsorts, the show is a fun and colourful experience courtesy of artists’ imaginations.

The show will be up until August 26 and the gallery is free and open to the public Tuesday to Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
