The 202 Chilcotin Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps marked the conclusion of their 2015/16 training year with their 50th Annual Ceremonial Review.

The event took place at the Elks Hall Sunday, June 12 with former Commanding Officer Lt. (N) Kay Titford serving as the reviewing officer.

Cadets conducted a march past, gave demonstrations and presented static displays about some of the skills they have learned during their year of training and participated in an awards ceremony.

The awards were presented as follows:

CO’s Award of Achievment: CI Stuart Wells.

Royal Canadian Legion Cadet Medal of Excellence: PO2 Rook.

Sea Cadet Service Medal: PO2 Rook.

Sea Cadet of the Year Awarda: PO2 Miller and PO2 Brunsch.

Best Dressed Cadeta: PO2 Van Kuipers S. and PO1 Bazinet.

Attendance: PO2 Van Kuipers D.

Top Junior Cadet: AB Clements.

Unsung Hero: Lt. (N) David Frey.
