The 2014 Stampede Princesses for a Day started their day with breakfast at the Stampede concession this morning, where they put on their banners and crowns, wrote their name tags and received their cowboy hats from Tribune/Weekend Advisor publisher Lisa Bowering and marketing manager Kathy McLean. The girls will watch a rodeo, participate in the Stampede Parade tomorrow morning, and be introduced during the grand entry at the afternoon Stampede Rodeo Saturday starting at 2 p.m. The first ever Stampede Princess for a Day contest sponsors include the Stampede Queen's Committee, Lions Club, Tribune/Weekend Advisor and Heartland Toyota.
