Lawyer Gina Calabrese operates her own law office in downtown Williams Lake.
She specializes in real estate, wills and estate planning, and elder powers of attorney.
Gina was born in Wells where her father worked in mining.
She moved to Williams Lake with her family at the age of five and graduated from Columneetza Senior Secondary School then went on to earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Calgary.
She took a year off from post graduate studies before heading to the University of Ottawa to earn her law degree.
Returning to Williams Lake Gina articled with Vanderburgh, Scott and Darcy (now Vanderburgh & Company).
In 1989 Gina and Mike Darcy established a law office in White Rock.
Returning to Williams Lake in 1993, Gina joined Oliver & Co.
Then in 2000 she established her own law office in her home.
In 2008 Gina moved her practice to the Phoenix Building at the corner of Second Avenue and Oliver Street where she works today with two support staff.
“It was good to get back downtown,” Gina says.
When her son was growning up Gina volunteered with minor hockey.
She continues to be a regular volunteer with the annual Williams Lake Stampede.
