BC Livestock Co-op Stockyards in Williams Lake serves as a venue for regularly scheduled sales, mainly on Thursdays, but sometimes also Wednesdays in high-volume periods. in addition to cattle sales, horse sales and equipment auctions, they also host many other events that draw large crowds of people to Williams Lake on numerous weekends throughout the calendar-year including private bull sales, meetings, seminars, information sessions and more.
The restaurant there is open most weekdays to the general public for breakfast and lunch. This large crowd was in attendance at the March 7, Prime Time Cattle & Cutting Edge Cattle Bull Sale, some of whom came from as far as Alberta and Saskatchewan to purchase a bull.
