Sta-Well Health Foods Store has proudly served the community since 1967, providing customers with natural food and wellness products.

Jenn Schick and her two sisters took over Sta-Well after Jenn’s father, Bruce Mattson, passed away in 2020. The business has been in the family since 1977, and a memorial bench for Bruce now sits at the bouldering park in Boitanio Park.

Jenn has worked for Sta-Well for over 20 years and is honoured to continue her father’s legacy. The clean and bright space features many of the original shelves Bruce had made for the store and artwork.

“My dad built a real family with his customers.”

Sta-Well is committed to providing people with natural and healthy products made in Canada whenever possible, including items local to Williams Lake, like pierogies from Melissa’s Klassy Kitchen and fresh produce from Debbie Irvine in Springhouse. They also take special orders for those looking for harder-to-find items.

With vitamins and supplements, probiotics, protein powders, bulk items, herbs and spices, skin care, animal care and food, people can take charge of their health, improving their quality of life.

Sta-Well is grateful for its loyal customers and loves being in a small town, serving clients as far as Bella Coola. You can visit Jenn, Teneal, Andrea, Christine and Melody for all your health needs at 79 Third Avenue North or reach them at 250-392-7022.

The store is open Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
