Mike Tremblay is a licensed Electrical Field Safety Representative (FSR) through Technical Safety B.C. He has been in the industry for 20 years, beginning in Vancouver and making his way to Williams Lake in 2013. It’s here where he met his wife and started a family, settling in Springhouse, a place he now calls home.
In January 2023, he opened his own business, something that’s “always been the dream.”
Lake City Security Works provides security alarms, surveillance cameras, door access (electronic door locks and fob keys), audio/video (such as home theatres and video conferencing), central vacuum systems, Wi-Fi networks, data networks, custom wiring (temperature sensors, flood sensors or smoke detectors) and more.
Recently, he worked with Tolko’s fire weather stations to automate them to run through solar panels and communicate via satellite. For his own home, he loves the peace of mind knowing his kids are home safe from school after disarming the alarm.
