Cariboo First Aid Training is locally owned and operated by Melanie Funk, who has 33 years of training experience.

A Work Safe BC and Canadian Red Cross provider, Melanie and her team members provide quality first aid training, customizing courses to suit your needs, whether personal, for your business or industrial needs. The affordable courses can be taken by individuals or as part of a group class of up to 18 people.

Courses include Occupational First Aid levels 1, 2 and 3, Transportation Endorsement, Canadian Red Cross Emergency/Childcare First Aid, Standard First Aid, B.L.S. Pro and all levels of C.P.R and A.E.D.

Several courses are running through October and November. If you can’t make one of the dates, Melanie offers personal courses whenever you’re available.

Along with customized courses, Cariboo First Aid Training makes the classes fun and knowledge-packed, empowering people to feel confident in emergency situations.

“I want people walking out of here confident in life-saving skills,” said Melanie.

Melanie has been a staple to the community, training many individuals and businesses in and around Williams Lake. With 33 years of teaching and 12 years working for the B.C.
