Competitors from around the province are in the lakecity this weekend for the Williams Lake High School Rodeo taking place at the Williams Lake Stampede Grounds Friday through Sunday.

Competitors from around the province are in the lakecity this weekend for the Williams Lake High School Rodeo taking place at the Williams Lake Stampede Grounds Friday through Sunday.

Here WLHSR president Leanne Manuel talks about the rodeo, followed by Williams Lake’s own Wyatt Armes as he prepares for and competes in the day’s first event — cutting and reined cowhorse. Wyatt achieved a 71 in his first go.
