Three schools took part in the third annual independent school run near the Williams Lake Airport Thursday morning.

Schools included the Sacred Heart Christian School, Cariboo Adventist Academy and Maranatha Christian School.

Students weren’t too bothered by the cold temperatures and skiff of snow on the ground and enjoyed hot chocolate around a campfire prior to and after the races along with cheers from their parents.
