Eagleview Equestrian Centre is celebrating its 20th anniversary in style this weekend with its annual Horsin’ Around in the Cariboo event.

Saturday’s festivities featured a Hoof ‘n’ Woof, Trail Challenge and a $1,200-added BC Barrel Racing Association sanctioned event, along with a two-person cattle sorting competition.

Sunday, another $1,200-added barrel race took place with another trail challenge scheduled for 1 p.m. Later, there will be a $500-added short-go barrel race for the top five competitors in each division.

Here, volunteer Karen Yaworski describes the event and talks about what happens at Eagleview Equestrian Centre, located off of Dog Creek Road.
