Cariboo Archers host fun flatfield shoot in Williams Lake

Archers were treated to fantastic weather during the weekend for the Cariboo Archers Flatfield 3D Shoot.

Archers were treated to fantastic weather during the weekend for the Cariboo Archers Flatfield 3D Shoot.

In total, 78 archers attended to shoot behind the clubhouse of the Williams Lake Sportsmen’s Association. Of the Cariboo Archers, several had top finishes.

In the men’s compound fixed pins division Lee Jackman sniped first, Adam Lyons was second and Gavin Laukkanen was third.

Mike Idler was the second-place finisher in the men’s compound unlimited category, while Al Campsall brought home the masters compound unlimited title.

In the cub compound division it was Caleb Albisser and Ryan Albisser finishing first and second, respectively.

On the men’s recurve side Fred Streleoff and Dan Mobbs finished one and two.

Lorne Barron was the masters traditional winner.

In the ladies longbow division Sharon Allan placed first, with Nikki Mobbs taking home second.

Jamie Albisser, meanwhile, finished first in the ladies compound fixed pins class.

The Cariboo Archers next event will be its annual Outdoor 3D Shoot from May 13-14.
