Scoring a time of five seconds, Brock Everett of Williams Lake showed the crowd how its done in the boys breakaway roping event Friday, May 19 during the BC High School Rodeo Association Provincial Junior Finals taking place at Stampede Park in Williams Lake this weekend.

The action started with performances at 10 a.m. and again at 3 p.m. Friday, May 19 and continue Saturday with performances starting at 11 a.m. and again at 6 p.m.

Competitors have come in from all over B.C., as far away as Kamloops, Fort St. John, and Kelowna, and from several cities in Alberta to compete in junior bareback, barrel racing, saddle bronc, breakaway, pole bending, tie down roping and goat tying events.
