I went to my first Imperial Metals Mount Polley Mine meeting.
In September 1994, I received a phone call from a Rodni Binder from Kamloops.
As the stories swirl around the devastating failure of the Polley Mine tailings pond, there is a lingering and equally concerning issue.
As a B.C. resident, I have been involved with schools and education in a variety of ways.
I am neither against mining, nor an environmentalist, but find Donald Leung’s Aug. 20 letter to the editor simplistic at best.
