Wayne Douglas Lingholt

June 1, 2004

We lost Wayne Douglas Lingholt unexpectedly on June 23. He was born in Winnipeg on June 1, 1944 to Stephen and Muriel.

Wayne was the eldest of three boys. Wayne spent some time in B.C. but returned to Winnipeg where he fell in love and married Pat. God blessed them with daughter Stacey in 1967 and in 1979, son Christian was born in Vancouver.

Wayne moved his family and settled in Williams Lake in 1976 where he worked for BC Rail. Wayne coached the seniors ball team for several years and was a proud Legion member. He was a wonderful and very proud grandfather.

Left with broken hearts are: wife Pat, daughter Stacey and her husband Gerald, son Christian, and his wife Leslie; grandchildrn Kerri, Summer, and Kye; brothers John and Laurie; mother-in-law Chris McIsaac, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

On Wednesay, June 30, the family will privately lay Wayne’s ashes to rest in Williams Lake Cemetery. Following that there will be a gathering of family and friends at the Legion Hall basement at 1 p.m. We love and miss you Wayne.
