Vernon Donald Ashley
January 12, 1955 - August 28, 2010
Vern is survived by his wonderful wife of 36 years, Terry and their beautiful children: Crystal, Donald (Yvonne), Clayton and his many delightful grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers: Joe (Bev), Russell, Marvin (Bonnie), Ken, Greg (Donna), Ed (Linda), Steve (Paula) and his sisters: Karen, Hope (Bill) and Bonnie (Wayne), their families and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his mother Reta, father Vern and sister Anita.
Vern will be remembered for his love of his family, friends, race cars and poker. His business “Vern’s Place” was a welcoming environment for many in the community.
Services will be held on Saturday, September 4th at 3:00 pm at the St. Andrew’s United Church, 1000 Huckvale Place, Williams Lake, BC. Reception to follow.
