It is with great sadness that Maria’s family announces her passing in her home surrounded by her loving family. It was after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer that she went peacefully into the arms of the Lord.
Maria da Piedade Ramos Pereira was born in Portugal and travelled to Williams Lake, BC with her husband and children in 1972.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years, Antonio, their daughter; Lena (Sam), son Tony (Keri) and
5 grandchildren; Josh (Shay), Daniel, Megan, Melissa and Mataya.
Maria’s family wishes to thank Dr. Neufeld and the Community Care nurses, for their care and attention during this time.
Prayers to be held on Sunday. April 23, 2017 at 5:00pm.
A Funeral Service and Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Williams Lake, on Monday, April 24, 2017 at 11:00am.
