James David Aronitz

April 29, 1959 - August 9, 2009

It is with great sadness James’ family announces his sudden passing on Sunday, August 9, 2009.

James was predeceased by his father, Ernie Aronitz. He is survived by his mother Margaret Hansen and Marvin Hansen who he was proud to call ‘Dad’; his sister Dawn; step-sisters, Christine (Ray), Cindy (Geordie); step-brothers Rick (Amanda) and Brad; nieces, nephews and extended family who will miss him in their lives.

He leaves behind many special friends in Vancouver, Squamish and Williams Lake.

James was born in New Westminster, April 29, 1959. He spent many years working in the hospitality industry - we all appreciated his expertise in the kitchen. Seven years ago he made a big change and went to work for Gibraltar Mines (Taseko). It opened a whole new world which he really enjoyed.

A memorial service will be held, Saturday, September 12 at 1:00 pm in the Williams Lake Alliance Church, 261 - 3rd Avenue South, Williams Lake, Reverend Dave Blakely presiding. There will be an open microphone so we can share our favourite stories of the James we knew.
