Isabel Biddlecombe

June 18, 2004

Isabel Biddlecombe, a loving mother and grandmother, passed peacefully away on June 18, 2004 surrounded by family at Cariboo Memorial Hospital.

She will be lovingly remembered by both family and friends.

Born November 27, 1911 in Vancouver, B.C., Isabel moved to the Williams Lake area in 1977.

Her passions included gardening, reading, music, knitting, crocheting, crafts and hockey.

She enjoyed living life to the fullest.

Living at Cariboo Lodge for the past three and a half years, she became a voice for seniors in her community.

Her greatest interest in life was her family.

Predeceased by husband Victor, sister Marion, and grandson Robert, she leaves behind her children, Joan (Don) Stonehouse, Lois (Fred) Hayward, Alex (Diane), David (Carol), Wendy (Bill) McNaughton, 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and dear friend Linda Weingart.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Fedor and the staff at Cariboo Lodge for the care they provided.

At Isabel’s request there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Isabel’s memory.
