1923 ~ 2017
Floyd was born in Talmage Utah on June 11, 1923 and passed away in Bella Coola, BC on February 26, 2017. He was predeceased by his parents Mary Gladstone Wilkerson and Lewis Albert Mecham; his children Barry and Cheryl; his siblings Isobel, Thelma, Jim, Myrtle, Lewis, Edith, Leora, Deloy and Albert.
He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Inez; his sons Keith (Leah) and Brad (Tracey); his grandchildren Heidi (Ian); Beau (Keri); Torann and Peyton; his great grandchildren Carson, Jayden, Jace and Jarrett.
Floyd was a great storyteller who never backed down from an adventure. He did anything necessary to support his cattle ranch at the base of Table Mountain. He was loved by his family and will be missed by all who knew him over his 93 years.
A graveside service will be held at 1pm at the Bella Coola Valley Cemetery on March 4, 2017. Reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion.
