Dorothy was born on April 27, 1932 in Yates, AB. She passed away on November 10, 2009 in Vernon, BC.
Dorothy is survived by her nine children, twenty grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son, Charles Fickell, in June of 1980.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Pleasant Valley Funeral Home with a reception to follow in the Pleasant Valley Tea Room.
In lieu of flowers, those friends wishing to make memorial contributions in memory of Dorothy may do so to the Canadian Cancer Society, 104 - 3402 - 27th Avenue, Vernon, BC V1T 1S1.
