In loving memory of Carl Robert Shumaker who was born December 2nd, 1932 and passed away November 30th, 2010 at the Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake, BC. Carl is survived by his wife of 44 years, Kathleen McCulley, 4 daughters; Micky McCulley, Carla McCulley, Jeanna (Larry) Giles, Dianne (Michael) Peterson and four Grandchildren; Rollin and Travis Chalifoux and Jade and Kassidy Peterson. Carl was preceded by his parents Henry and Hazel Shumaker, sister, Laura and brother, Bill. Surviving are Carl’s sisters Margaret, Hilda, Violet, Minnie, Marion and many nieces, nephews and friends. Carl was born in Lethbridge, Alberta and raised on a farm in Vauxhall, Alberta; where he met his wife Kathleen and they raised 5 children. Carl moved his family to a ranch in Horsefly, BC on February 28th, 1979; where they lived for 28 yearsranching and raising their children. Carl sold the ranch in 2007 and retired to Williams Lake, BC, where he lived with his wife until he passed away. Carl is loved and will be missed by his family and friends in both Williams Lake, BC and Vauxhall, Alberta.
