Alice went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 12, 2009, at the age of 79. She was born Alice Klemp on January 19, 1930 in the city of Pissarewka in the Ukraine. She was a dedicated and loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her three children Bernd (Gloria), Erica, and Ingrid: her grandchildren Jennifer (Eric), Walter (Melissa), Christopher, Charlene (Doug), William, Adam, Kevan, and Megan: her great-grandchildren Connor, Austin, Matthew, Gracie, Matthew and Kaitlyn; many nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was predeceased by her husband Gerhard in 1999, as well as by her parents Assaf and Helene, sister Else, and brother Erich. All who knew her will fondly remember her, as she had a special place in many people’s hearts. A service will be held on Saturday, March 21st at the Evangelical Free Church in Williams Lake at 11 am. La Prairies’ Funeral Services entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated, in remembrance of Alice.
