Williams Lake RCMP responded to two incidents involving knives over the weekend.
Saturday, March 25 at about 11 a.m. a male was stabbed twice in the back of his skull while in an altercation with three other males.
Staff Sgt. Del Byron said the incident occurred on Gibbon Street near Cariboo Memorial Hospital.
The victim was treated at hospital and released, and the matter is still under investigation.
Police were also called to a dance at the 150 Mile community hall at 2:20 a.m. Sunday, March 26.
Byron said a knife was produced and minor cuts were sustained. Police are still investigating.
