BC Hydro crews are responding to power outages in the Williams Lake area Wednesday morning.

An outage reported at 7:22 a.m. in the Beaver Valley Road area is impacting 29 customers, while another outage, reported at 10:36 a.m. west of Dog Creek Road, has left 75 customers without hydro.

The cause of both outages was downed wires.

Environment Canada’s forecast shows a current temperature of 3C with wind southeast 30 kilometres an hour, gusting up to 50 km/h

There is a chance of rain showers or flurries in the forecast for Wednesday, with temperatures expected to go down to -5C overnight.
