Resident escapes mobile home fire Friday in Williams Lake

A mobile home resident in Williams Lake escaped without injury when a fire started in the kitchen Friday.

Just before noon the Williams Lake fire department responded to a fire at the Western Estates mobile home park off Western Avenue.

When crews arrived smoke was coming from the roof. Firefighters worked quickly to stop the fire from spreading and no flames were visible, only smoke.
